Caregiver/ Companion, In-Home Help

We will be interviewing qualified Caregivers to expand our In-Home Care Team for hourly assignments (four hour minimum) throughout Butler County (as well as Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Lawrence, and Mercer). We are building a TEAM of qualified Caregivers who have the desire to make a difference in the lives of our consumers and who share our philosophy that the needs of the clients come first.

You will provide one-on-one support services to individuals with developmental or physical disabilities or to elderly individuals who might need assistance in their homes with daily living activities. Use your direct care or non-medical home care experience to offer training and assistance in the home environment and help our clients to live more fruitful lives.

Duties may include:

* Light housekeeping
* Laundry
* Meal preparation and monitoring
* Meal reminders
* Companionship
* Bathing assistance
* Dressing and grooming
* Bedtime assistance
* Medication reminders
* Personal Care

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

* One (1) year direct care experience
* Current Physical, CPR, TB, and Act 34 State Police and Child Abuse clearances.
* Reliable Transportation is a MUST.
* CNA or STNA a plus.
* Client-centered approach to care.
* Reliable and flexible.
